QUICK REFERENCE guidelines for keeping a sick child home from school:

  • Child should be fever-free for 24 hours (without fever-reducing medication).
  • Child should be free of vomiting/diarrhea for 24 hours.
  • If diagnosed with strept throat or conjunctivitis, child must have 24 hours of antibiotic treatment       
        before returning.

Attention Parents:

If your child requires medication during the school day, you must complete a Medication Permission Form and bring it with the medication (in the original container) to the school office. *STUDENTS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO CARRY MEDICATION WITH THEM AT SCHOOL!
