Clarendon Hall Academics
Students discover new interests, build friendships, strengthen their talents, and learn to lead through a growing collection of clubs and student organizations.
Beyond the Classroom
Clubs give students meaningful ways to explore creativity, deepen academic interests, grow in faith, serve others, and take responsibility within the school community.
The groups below are organized by area of interest. Individual club spotlights and descriptions will be added as the year continues.
Create & Perform
Opportunities for students to express ideas, develop artistic skills, and share their talents.

Think & Compete
Clubs that challenge students to read widely, solve problems, think strategically, and represent Clarendon Hall.

Middle School Battle of the Books turns reading into a team challenge. Students read a selected collection of books, discuss characters, settings, themes, and important plot details, and practice answering questions together. The experience strengthens reading comprehension, memory, communication, and teamwork as students prepare to represent Clarendon Hall in competition.

High School Chess Club gives students opportunities to sharpen their skills through match play, game analysis, and preparation for tournament competition. Members strengthen problem-solving, strategic planning, time management, resilience, and respectful competition as they work to represent Clarendon Hall at their best.

Middle School Chess Club helps students build a strong foundation in the game through practice, friendly competition, and tournament preparation. Members develop strategic thinking, concentration, patience, and sportsmanship while learning to plan ahead, recognize patterns, and make thoughtful decisions.
High School Math Meet gives students the opportunity to apply their mathematical knowledge in a challenging academic competition. Members practice a variety of problems, strengthen accuracy and speed, sharpen logical reasoning, and develop collaborative problem-solving skills as they prepare to represent Clarendon Hall with confidence and good sportsmanship.

High School Quiz Bowl brings students together for fast-paced, head-to-head academic competition. Using a buzzer system, players answer questions across history, literature, science, fine arts, current events, popular culture, sports, and more, then collaborate on challenging bonus questions. Members build broad knowledge, confidence, rapid recall, communication, and teamwork as they prepare to represent Clarendon Hall.
Grow & Serve
Groups that encourage fellowship, service, character, and faith in action.

Middle School FCA gives students a welcoming place to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ through Scripture, prayer, fellowship, and encouragement. Guided by FCA’s values of integrity, serving, teamwork, and excellence, students learn how faith can shape the way they lead, compete, and serve others.

Upper School FCA brings students together to deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ and encourage one another in faith. Through fellowship, Scripture, prayer, and service, members are equipped to live with integrity, serve others, work as a team, and pursue excellence at school and beyond.

ProTeam is a leadership and career-exploration program that helps eighth-grade students learn more about themselves, collaborate effectively, set meaningful goals, and consider education as a future profession. Through hands-on, student-driven activities and positive role models, members strengthen character, communication, leadership, and college and career readiness while discovering the lasting impact educators can have.
Recognize & Lead
Organizations that celebrate achievement and give students a voice in school life.
The Middle School Renaissance Team helps build a positive school culture by recognizing effort, achievement, kindness, and growth. Members plan activities and celebrations that help students and teachers feel seen, heard, valued, and connected while developing leadership, teamwork, creativity, and school pride.
The High School Renaissance Team serves as a group of culture-building leaders who recognize students and educators, celebrate achievement, and strengthen relationships across campus. Members turn creative ideas into activities and initiatives that encourage belonging, character, enthusiasm, and pride in the Clarendon Hall community.
Student Government Association gives students a meaningful voice in school life while developing leadership, responsibility, and teamwork. Members represent their classmates, help plan school activities, share student ideas, and work together on projects that strengthen school spirit and the Clarendon Hall community.

National Honor Society recognizes students who exemplify scholarship, service, leadership, and character. Members pursue academic excellence, serve the needs of others, lead through initiative and positive example, and demonstrate integrity, respect, empathy, and responsibility. Through service projects and leadership opportunities, students work to make a lasting difference at Clarendon Hall and in the wider community.
